where it all began

From overwhelm to purpose.

Mother of Pearl didn’t start as a brand. It started as a survival strategy. As the mom of a neurodivergent family, I spent years navigating systems that didn’t get us, advice that didn’t fit, and a world that asked for more patience when what I really needed was understanding.

Through the mess and milestones, I kept showing up—learning, unlearning, advocating, and making room for repair when things went sideways. Over time, those lessons became wisdom. And that wisdom became the foundation for this work.

what shaped this work

A family that taught me everything

My children are my teachers. Their wiring, their brilliance, and their struggles have shaped the way I see the world—and my purpose in it.

The school of hard knocks

Years of trial, error, late nights, and deep learning taught me that real support comes from experience, not theory.

A village of truth-tellers

Mentors, friends, and other parents who told me what I needed to hear and understood the mess. I wouldn’t be here without them.

A decision to rise anyway

I chose courage over comfort. Again and again. And in doing so, I discovered my voice—and what I’m meant to do with it.

WHY I DO THIS

Because no one should have to figure this out alone.

I believe in compassionate support, practical wisdom, and fierce advocacy. I believe in helping families feel seen, informed, and empowered. And I believe in leading with grace—and a little righteous fire—because our kids deserve nothing less.

let's keep walking together

There’s more to this story—and I’m still writing it. I’d love for you to be part of the next chapter.

If you saw a little of yourself in my story, pull up a chair. We’ve got a LOT to talk about.
